Greatest Hits
Katie:
Well I hoped you enjoyed the semester. It is almost over.
“What happens in Vegas…” (October 19, 2010).
I really enjoyed reading your personal narrative. I choice this particular blog as one of your greatest hits because my other group members had interesting stories that they posted on their blog. Your narrative was interesting. Your narrative was descriptive and entertaining. The imagery was good. I was able to create a distinct picture in my mind while I was reading your blog. I’m sorry to hear that your hotel room was not to your standards. Your writing skills are fantastic. The narrative was easy to read. Will you ever go back to Vegas considering what happened in your prior trip?
“To buy or not to buy?”(October 26, 2010).
I liked the topic of discussion in your blog. I wrote my essay on this particular topic, and I explained the negative impacts of materialism. Your response was very descriptive and consistent. You provided textual support in order to support you claims in regards to the topic. For instance you mentioned Twitchell claims there are positive aspects to materialism. You also state that there are negative aspects to materialism which individuals should not over look. I really heard your voice coming out in this response. I thought the response was well written.
“Frida Kahlo”(September 9, 2010).
I thought this assignment was difficult at first because I had trouble describing the painting. You did a good job describing the painting by Frida Kahlo. The way you were able to describe the painting would have enabled me to know what kind of portrait Frida created without looking at the picture you posted. I liked how you gave your own interpretation of the portrait after you described it. I also agree with you that Frida was a great artist. The descriptive response was well written. Did you have any trouble completing the assignment?
